The new CCNP Enterprise certification program gives you broader range of skills and deeper focus in strategic technology areas. The certification covers core technologies with an enterprise focus area of your choice. Candidates must pass two exams to be CCNP Enterprise Certified. First, you must pass a core exam, covering enterprise technologies. The second exam is one of your choosing. The Enterprise concentration exam allows you to customize your certification and focus on a specific technical area that supports your goals.
For each exam you pass within the CCNP Enterprise program, you will earn a Specialist Certification.

There are no formal prerequisites for CCNP Enterprise, but you should have a good understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam.
