Cosmos DB is a cloud-native, multi-model database system from Microsoft that supports document, key-value, graph, and column-family data models. Cosmos DB was designed for highly scalable, distributed applications that need to store large amounts of data in a variety of formats. In a Cosmos DB in a Day course, you would learn the basics of Cosmos DB and how to use it to store, manipulate, and query data. Topics might include working with collections, replicas, and partitions, indexes, and security and scalability options. You would also learn how to connect the Cosmos DB to applications such as JavaScript, Node.js, and Python, and how to use the Azure Cosmos DB SDKs and command-line tools. The course will also provide an overview of running analytics on Cosmos DB. By the end of the course, you will have the skills necessary to design and create Cosmos DB-based applications.
