The ITIL® Managing Across Lifecycle (MALC) course is a core and advanced level course for ITIL practitioners. The course is designed to provide learners with a deep understanding of the complete ITIL Service Lifecycle, from strategy and design to operation and continual improvement. The course will also provide learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage services at each stage of their lifecycle.
The MALC course builds on the principles and best practices introduced in the ITIL Lifecycle phase courses, and covers the management and control aspects that service managers will encounter in their day-to-day operations. By integrating the ITIL processes, activities, tools and techniques at each stage of the service lifecycle, learners will be able to develop and implement practical strategies to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
During the MALC course, service managers will gain a greater understanding of the critical aspects of managing IT services in the four key stages of the ITIL lifecycle (strategy, design, transition and operation). They will become familiar with the processes, activities and techniques that can help ensure the successful planning, design, implementation and operation of services. In addition, learners will gain an in-depth knowledge of ITIL best practices such as incident management, problem management, change management, knowledge management, service asset and configuration management, service level management and IT performance metrics.
