Course Prerequisites


In order to take this training course, you will need a good understanding of the basics from the Power Automate foundation course and general knowledge of the Microsoft power platform. A fundamental understanding of the concepts of automation and data manipulation such as triggers, scopes, conditions, and expressions is also desired. Prior experience with building workflows and understanding of Azure services could be helpful. Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and Office 365 applications would be beneficial, but is not required.

This training course is aimed at experienced users of Microsoft Power Automate Cloud, who are looking to further leverage the platform to increase efficiency, streamline workflows and optimize the automation of business processes. Individuals should already have a solid understanding of Power Automate Cloud, its key features and functions, and should have some experience with designing and deploying workflows. This training is not recommended for those without any prior experience with Power Automate Cloud. Those attending should be familiar with basic concepts related to Workflow automation, such as workflow structuring, data manipulation, and integration with 3rd party APIs. A basic knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI, is also beneficial. This training is designed for Business Analysts, Developers, System Administrators and those in IT.

This training provides participants with the skills and knowledge to better understanding of the advanced techniques for optimizing workflow using Power Automate. After completing this training, participants will be able to build workflows to meet advanced user needs, use connectors securely and effectively, identify and describe trigger parameters, create custom connectors, use the Power Automate UI tools, use expressions and conditional logic to create complex conditions, apply action transforms to take actions on data, and use the Power Apps canvas to create custom actions. They will also gain an understanding of how to best integrate Power Automate with Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
