VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud: Deploy and Manage course is designed to help networking professionals learn how to use advanced technologies to deploy and manage VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud and take advantage of its powerful features to build secure, resilient and high performance networks. This course focuses on the components of SD-WAN, such as edge gateways, virtual WAN (vWAN), networking and security services, deployment models, and management.
The main objectives of this course are to:

2. Gain an in-depth knowledge of edge gateway components of VMware NSX SD-WAN.

The prerequisites for the VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud: Deploy and Manage training course are as follows:
• Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts, including: routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, Quality of Service (QoS), IP Addressing and subnetting, and Wi-Fi
• Understanding of VMware vSphere virtualization, virtual switches, and VXLAN
• Working knowledge of SD-WAN technology, architecture and cloud-based services
• Basic understanding of IT security technologies and concepts, such as secure perimeter gateways, cryptography, and data privacy
• Working knowledge of configuration and management of network infrastructure components
